Electrical Technician - Design

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Thorough knowledge of the design and engineering of electrical low-voltage and low-current installations for building projects,
• At least 5 years of experience,
• Knows how to prepare Concept/Preliminary Design, Permit Design, and Detailed/Construction Design packages, has a solid command of design phases, and can prepare cost estimate and quantity take-off files,
• Experienced with current materials and installation details,
• Advanced user of Autocad and Revit,
• Proficient in MS Office, 
• Preferably experienced in BIM-based modeling and design,
• Preferably experienced in design with Dialux/Relux and EaseAddress,
• A team player, results-oriented, and responsible,
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical and solution-oriented thinking, and strong coordination skills,
• Able to handle work scheduling and time management and take ownership of their work,
• Able to commute to the Istanbul - Beşiktaş location without difficulty,
• Completed or exempt from military service.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Preparing the electrical low-voltage and low-current installation designs and models for building projects; carrying out the planning required for their implementation and coordinating with other disciplines,
• Preparing cost estimates, quantity take-offs, riser and single-line diagrams, and calculation files,
• Preparing design and tender documents for the work in compliance with quality standards and local and international regulations,
• Following up on tasks assigned by supervisors and ensuring that projects are completed by their delivery dates,
• Providing information and reports on project progress whenever required.
