SIGMA undertook the structural design of Ataerk 2 Logistics Warehouse and Administrative Offices in Gebze.
Structurally designed by SIGMA, Ataerk 2 Logistics Warehouse and Administrative Offices is located on a 44,600 m² site in Gebze Güzeller OIZ. The facility was designed as an A+ logistics facility complying with all international standards. The 26,000 m² ground floor is served by a total of 25 doors: 24 loading docks + 1 forklift door. Its height is approximately 14 m. The 3,500 m² mezzanine accommodates offices and handling areas. Including technical/mechanical areas, the facility has a total enclosed area of 30,000 m². The building was designed as a column-beam system with a steel truss/purlin roof, for a floor load of 5 t/m².

The facility's usable area is almost 26.000 sqm and receives service with a total of 25 doors that 24 doors opening to the loading & unloading bay and one door dedicated to forklifts. The offices and handling area are located on the 3500 sqm mezzanine level. The facility has a 30.000 sqm construction area with technical and mechanical rooms and areas. Its height is 14meters. The primary load-bearing structure comprises reinforced concrete columns and beams to carry the live floor load of 5 tons/m². The building has a steel roof truss.
