The Istanbul University Hasdal Campus Hospital
The Istanbul University Hasdal Campus Hospital Building Project is a healthcare complex that incorporates the latest technologies of the healthcare sector.
SIGMA prepared the structural, mechanical, electrical and infrastructure designs of the hospital complex, built as 7 blocks on a total area of 605,000 m². To minimize earthquake risk, the buildings were constructed on seismic isolators at foundation level. Located near a natural forest, the complex was enhanced with healing gardens and public green space in line with SIGMA's landscape consultancy. SIGMA also provided fire consultancy for the project.

The hospital complex gives service in 7 blocks and has 605,000 square meters of building area.
Since Istanbul is situated close to fault lines, earthquake insulators were installed on foundations to reduce the effects of seismic energy and waves from any potential quakes. SIGMA also developed the fire strategy and systems for the health care facility.
Healing gardens and public green spaces are the parts of the landscape design for the hospital complex, which will be located next to a forested area.
