SIGMA undertook the structural design of Ataerk Logistics Warehouse and Administrative Offices in Gebze.
Located on a 14,700 m² site in Gebze Güzeller OIZ, this A+ logistics facility was designed in compliance with all international standards. The facility's 8,000 m² ground floor and 9,200 m² basement, whose structural design was prepared by SIGMA, are each served by a total of 11 doors: 10 loading docks + 1 forklift door. On both floors, the office and handling areas are on the mezzanine. The building was designed as a column-beam frame system with a steel truss and purlin roof, for a floor load of 5 t/m².

The facility has two floors the ground floor is 8.000 sqm and the basement floor is 9.200 sqm. These two floors have 10 doors opening to the loading & unloading bay and 1 door dedicated to forklifts. The offices and handling areas are located on the mezzanines on each floor. The primary load-bearing structure comprises reinforced concrete columns and beams to carry the live floor load of 5 tons/m². The building has a steel roof truss.
