Elbey Logistics Warehouse and Administrative Offices

Located in Kocaeli, Elbey Logistics Warehouse and Administrative Offices was completed in 2008. SIGMA undertook the structural design of the facility.

The project is located on a 58,000 m² site in Gebze Güzeller OIZ. The facility was designed as an A+ logistics facility complying with all international standards. The 35,000 m² ground floor is served by a total of 38 doors: 36 loading docks + 2 forklift doors. Its height is approximately 14 m. The 25,000 m² basement is served by a total of 28 doors: 26 loading docks + 2 forklift doors. Its height is 11.5 m.

The ground floor is 35.000 sqm and has 14 meters in height and receives service from 38 loading & unloading bay doors and 2 forklift doors. The basement floor is 25.000 sqm and has 11.5 meters in height and receives service from 28 loading &unloading bay doors and 2 forklift doors. A 9% inclined ramp connecting the loading yards has been designed so that both floors can work independently or can be used by a single tenant if desired. The structure is designed to bear 5 tons/sqm and has a steel truss purlin roof on the column beam frame system.
