Schattdecor Gebze Factory
The Schattdecor Gebze Factory Project, for which SIGMA provided structural design services, was completed in 2009.
Located on a 25,700 m² site in Gebze Güzeller OIZ, the facility of the German company Schattdecor, the world leader in decor printing, has a total enclosed area of 17,000 m², including 12,000 m² of manufacturing and storage space, a total of 3,500 m² of office space on three floors, and 1,500 m² of service and mechanical space in the basement. Schattdecor attaches great importance to applying the same type of design across all its facilities worldwide; this facility in Türkiye was designed by adapting that design to Türkiye in terms of site location, local regulations and materials.
