Ümraniye Çakmak Indoor Semi-Olympic Pool
The Indoor Swimming Pool in Ümraniye, Istanbul, whose structural design SIGMA undertook, was completed in 2003.
Designed on a challenging 6,300 m² plot in Ümraniye, this complex is a successful design example with its semi-Olympic swimming pool, changing rooms, workout areas, athletes' health center and social areas. Structurally designed by SIGMA, the project was well received by İBB Spor A.Ş. and was replicated exactly in Halkalı, Istanbul, effectively becoming a standard design.
